“ I had a phenomenal breakfast here! I found the staff to be very hospitable. The space is small, but perfect for a home-cooked diner. Follow the rules! There aren't many and they are simple. So funny to read the negative reviews here. Catch the eye of the hostess, wait your turn patiently, be nice and you will be rewarded with an absolutely delicious meal larger than what you can finish. Show your hind end and you get what you give. ”
“ A little whole in the wall restaurant with great homemade southern food. Staff was friendly and attentive. We had a little wait of about 15 minutes to get in but enjoyed sitting on the outside patio. ”
“ This was my first time visiting Franklin and my family told me about their visit to Ms Lois' last year. I had to drive home yesterday but said that I really wanted to try it, so we went for a late lunch. It did not disappoint. If you're craving some good southern food, this is a place to go. I had country-fried steak with green beans, mashed potatoes, mac and cheese, and cornbread. It all hit the spot perfectly! ”
“ Delicious food and excellent customer service. They go above and beyond to satisfy their customers. Personally, I'm addicted to their chicken quesadillas for lunch. It comes with sour cream and salsa , but I opt for bbq sauce and ranch and they were very courteous with me swapping out the condiments . And oh, for dinner - try their "special" - each night it's something different and great comfort food! ”
“ My wife and I stopped in for breakfast on our way through town. We saw the sign and decided to give it a try. What a great experience! The staff were all so friendly, the ambiance was very homey and comfortable, and the food was excellent! A wonderful experience in every way. If you are looking for a place for a casual, comfortable meal - go to Ms. Lois'! ”
“ Great food and service. I had blackened catfish with candied yams, rice and gravy and creamed corn. My daughter had fried chicken salad. All were superb. I was a little surprised when we walked in. I thought the sign saying to wait outside was a pandemic relic, but they really mean it. The inside is cozy without much room to wait for a table. If it's chilly or wet, come prepared. All in all, a good local place. We'll be back. ”
“ The best home cooked dinner we've had in a long time. Tender roast beef, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, coleslaw and corn muffin. Delicious!!!! Large portions for only $10.99. Small place. Wait time not bad on a Tuesday night. You won't be disappointed!! ”
“ It' doesn't look like much from the outside but don't let that fool you it makes up in the food and service. Super awesome place. The catfish is a must and the hush puppies. However, after tasting the bbq platter for me there could only be one winner. The bbq platter was delish. As was the bbq beans. I would skip the corn bread and get the biscuit. Other than you simply cannot go wrong with the food in this establishment. Plenty of parking. It's small so plan your dining accordingly. Can't wait to go back for breakfast which they only serve until 10:45 AM on the dot. ”
